Power to the People: Sears.com's New 'People's Pick' Feature Lets Customers Vote Online, Choose Which Items Go On Sale

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sears.com is helping to make holiday shopping more enjoyable with its new People's Pick online feature that allows customers to vote on which popular items should go on sale each week. Weekly through Dec. 24, 2011, customers can vote for products within select categories every Sunday through Tuesday at , for incredible limited-time savings online and in-stores nationwide.

Empowering Sears customers like never before, People's Pick provides the opportunity to vote for products within the following categories—For Him, For Her, Teens, Trendsetters, DIY-er, Techie, Sports Fan and Chef—each week. Every Wednesday, Sears announces the winning products, which will be available at the People's Pick sale price, both in-store and online, on Fridays and Saturdays. Sears will feature new People's Picks weekly throughout the season except for the week of Thanksgiving, Nov. 20-26.

People's Pick is another innovative way Sears' is enhancing the shopping experience. Last month, Sears Holdings announced that it is offering customers real deals near them in real time, via new digital local ads available on and . Sears has long empowered customers to shop their way with the Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store solution that allows them to purchase online and receive their orders that very same day, or have purchases delivered to their home on the same day through the innovative mygofer service.
